About three years ago, I was a normal, happy-go-lucky person just living my life and enjoying it.
Then I met a guy. 🤦🏼♀️
And this man rocked my world... But not like you're thinking.
Well...he did that too. But that's a different story for a different day. 😂
What he really did was introduce me to an idea—a “theory”—that I had never seriously considered before. Honestly, at first I didn't even understand why it mattered.
But I'm a woman with a strong faith, so I took it to God: “Lord, if this is real, show me.” And He did.
That was the beginning of my journey down the rabbit holes. For about the next 18 months, I went to work, came home and researched. That was pretty much my life. And Lord, was I messed up. 😂
But something else happened during that time that I wasn't expecting: I got lonely.
I didn't necessarily need people who agreed with me. I needed people who were willing to have the conversation.
Eventually, I realized I needed balance. I wanted to laugh. I wanted to go places. I wanted to have dinner with friends. I wanted road trips and conversations. I wanted engaging conversations!
I wanted faith and friendship and relationships and fun. I wanted a life again.
But I still wanted people in that life who understood this part of me. I wanted friends I could research with and do life with.
And I kept thinking: Where do you find those people?
That’s where Truth Theorist began.
It’s okay to go down the rabbit holes. You just don’t have to live in them.
And somewhere out there are people who understand exactly what I mean. Maybe you're one of them.
I want to help you find your people.
